Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety (DRMS) has reviewed Energy Fuels submission of a
Technical Revision, TR-01 to note intermittent status for the Whirlwind Mine. Based on the information
and plan submittals and discussions with Energy Fuels, DRMS agrees that intermittent status for the
mine permit is advisable and prudent. Therefore TR-01 to place the mine in intermittent status Per Rule
1.13.7 is approved. Per the rule Energy Fuels must meet all reporting dates, continue any required
monitoring and water treatment and keep the site well maintained.
If you need additional information please contact me at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety,
Grand Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, or by telephone
no. 970.241.1117.
Sincerely,
r'
G.
