(Everist), wishes to make a slight modifications to the mining and
reclamation plans of the Maryland Creek Ranch permit. This modification does not
increase the permit boundary and will not increase the amount of exposed groundwater.
Therefore, we are applying for a Technical Revision.
With this letter is a revised site map showing the area to which the Technical Revision
will apply.
The change to the mining plan involves moving the current Limit of Mining boundary
westward along Mining Cell 3 and Mining Cell 4 to the Permit Boundary (area shaded in
on attached map). This area was originally excluded from the Limit of Mining boundary
due to the ongoing use of McKay Ditch for irrigation. This ditch will no longer be used
for irrigation therefore Everist is requesting this Technical Revision in order to maximize
our mining efforts. Reclamation in this area will be performed in accordance with the
current mining plan with slopes being no greater than 3:1.
If you have any questions, or require additional information, please feel free to call me at
970-468-3653.
Sincerely,
le, ?Z a,44-
M.
