(HGTI) has provided the Division with the first quarter 2009 pond
inspection report for Hayden Gulch Loadout (DRMS Permit No. C 1992-081). Two ponds exist on the
permit area, Truck Loop Pond (001) and Rail Loop Pond (002). The report was received by the Division
on April 21, 2009. Both the Truck Loop pond (Outfall 001A) and the Rail Loop pond (Outfall 002A)
were inspected by HGTI on March 24, 2009. The first quarter 2009 pond inspection report indicates that
the Truck Loop pond was discharging at the time of the inspection. The Rail Loop Pond was not, but a
follow up observation on March 25, 2009, indicated that the Rail Loop Pond began discharging on March
25, 2009. No problems were identified with either pond. These reports are in compliance with Rule
4.05.9(17).
Thank you for the timely submittal of the First Quarter 2009 Pond Inspection Reports.
Sincerely,
anet
(303) 8
Protection Specialist If
C:\jhb\C92081\Reports\lst Q ponds.doc
CC: John Weinman, Hydro-Environmental Solutions, Inc.
P.O.
