Computer requirements to use the DRMS document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD the Srst time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD at DVD that you purchase a= be in the A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain Slew with the.tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Farr Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not with QuickVww. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DBMS line determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from Irf tnView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "lrfnaView", it needs to be condgured as your default.tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such u "Imaging Preview" and "Inmging for Windows". 48lt 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView setup program, but also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.siataxo.us. The Permit FUe document Imago cam be viewed V the reception area of the DRMS of&@ or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purehase tort covers the time and labor of making the CD. DBMS cannot provide computer related support.
