Computer requirements to use the DRMS document gauging CD (or DVD): Mir?nq and Safety.
1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use RMS imaging CD
the fist time. Future use of this or other inmghi CD's does not require a new installation of the software.
2. The CD or DVD that you purchase 11>!I>d be in the . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD.
3. The CD will contain Met with the .tif extension. Then needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that
will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP corputer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture
and Fax Viewer" or `Taint" and they do not with QuickView. The Imaging viewer that comes with pro-Windows XP computers
does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "Irhu.View", which can be downloaded from Irfinview.com, does work with
QuickView. After downloading "h1anView", it needs to be configured as your defiurk .tif viewer. DBMS does not support or etudone
this software and the licensing and registration are the user's napongibility. Then are ninny other programs that work as well, such as
"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows".
Instructions:
1. Insert the CD into your computer.
2. Allow time for the CD to install.
3. Eject the CD from the computer.
4. Reinsert the CD into the computer.
5. You are ready to view the Permit Files.
NOTE: A program called QuickVww Autonm, which runs the QuwkVww
setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autonm program
does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program.
Instructions for manually installing QuickView an available upon request
with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us.
The Permit M document Images can be viewed to the reception area of the DBMS oAke or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD.
The CD/DVD purchase cost coven the time and labor of making the CD. DRMS cannot provide computer related support.
