Computer requirements to use the DBMS document Imaft CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and moat be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase a= be in the Ds drtia. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVDr 3. The CD will contain film with the Aif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pro-Windows XP computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfuView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be codgured as your dc&ult Alf viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Itildnlictions: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which run, the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autoirm program does NOT work, you will need to menially install the QuickView program Inatruetions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.miniina.state.co.us. The Perak [rile document Images cam be viewed in the rim area of the DRMS oAke or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD. DRMS cannot provide computer related support.
