M-1999-098 Riverview Resource Preliminary Adequacy Review Response <br />Dear Eric, <br />The following provides our written responses to your comments of November 18, 2009. <br />Each response is italicized and is preceded by the comment as provided by DRMS. <br />6 4 1 EXHIBIT A - Legal Description <br />This section is adequate as submitted. <br />A copy of the corrected legal description as submitted to the Division on November 11, <br />2008 is attached. <br />6 4 2 EXHIBIT B - Index Map <br />This section is adequate as submitted. <br />6 4 3 EXHIBIT C Pre mining and Mining Plan Maps) of Affected Lands <br />This section is adequate as submitted. <br />6 4 4 EXHIBIT D - Mining Plan <br />The overall mining plan appears to be straightforward; however, there is one area, which <br />requires additional clarification. The mining plan text states that gold for commercial use <br />may be a secondary commodity of this operation; however, it is not listed on Page 1 <br />sections 5.1 and 5.3 of the application form. Also no mention is made anywhere else in <br />the plan of how the gold will be separated and recovered. Please clarify these points. <br />Gold may be recovered as an incidental/secondary commodity as part of the wash <br />process for the sand and gravel. A filter mat is inserted in the wash plant and removed <br />periodically to be processed off-site by an assay contractor.
