We have reviewed the adequacy review responses provided in your submittal received
February 11, 2009.
The responses satisfied the following items in our preliminary adequacy review letter of
November 25, 2008: 1 a, 1 b, 1 c, 2a, 3 a, 3b, 3 c, and 5a. We have the following comments
regarding previous comments 3d, 3e, and 4a, and provide new comments 2b-e, 3f-h, and
6 through 12.
2. Map King II-007 A, B, C.
b. Please submit the drawing of the details of the headwall construction which Detail
1 on Sheet 2 says will be submitted later.
c. Please add the anti-seepage collars to the as-built design drawing of the pond
embankment.
d. Please verify in the field that the sideslopes of the East Clear Water Ditch are now
2:1 (as they are shown in Detail 2 of Sheet 2). During the June 17, 2008
inspection the ditch had sideslopes near 1:1. If necessary, please modify the ditch
sideslopes to 2:1.
If you submit a new SEDCAD run for the East Clear Water Ditch as a result of
comment 3d, below, and the new run indicates the ditch needs liner, then Sheet 2
will need to be revised to show the liner, but do not submit the as-built drawing
until the liner is installed.
