This is the requested documentation
showim, that Connell Resources. Inc. has complied with lagged depletion
requirements.
With reference to the Russian Olives, they are located out side of the
limits of excavation. Based on our permit there is a 100' easement of
undisturbed soils. "Therefore, it is in Connell Resources, Inc. opinion that
these trees are not the company's responsibility to remove these trees.
With reference to the metal tank/refuse, these items are out side of the
disturbance limits as well.
Connells response to the vegetation with Inadequate establishment is that
our company has adequate vegetation to prevent any soil erosion that
could possible occur from wind and/or precipitation. As well as the
current vegetative covering is at least equal, ?,vitll respect to the extent of
covcr, to the surrounding area.
"Phis is for these reasons that we respectfully request your reconsideration
of your decision of denial on our request for a full release of the
Wellington Downs Pit
i f you have any further questions please do not hesitate to call,
(970)-223-3151
Sincerely,
1461
Tracey Trybom
Environmental I lealth Specialist
Connell Resources, inc.
Enclosures: Site Map
Letter to Division of \N,"ater Quality
