Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD the first time. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or `Taira" and they do not work with QulekView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfiinView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be Wmp W;ed as your default.tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Lutructions: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Antonin, which rung the QwckVww getup progtaun hag also been copied to this CD. If the Antonin program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. The Permit File document Images can be viewed la the reception area of the DBMS otHce or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost coven the time and labor of making the CD. DRMS cannot provide computer related sapport.
