Natural Resource Trustee Computer requirements to use the DBMS document Imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require anew iaatallation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase mud be in the A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain Elea with the tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for tif files on your computer that will handle single and mild- age documents. On a Windom XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not with QnickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrhnView", which can be downloaded from IrfenView.eom, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be contn'gurod as your default Af viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inoblumans: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD fl,om the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the Qwckvietw setup program has also been copied to this CD. If the Autoiun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView proginm. hstructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us.
