Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imams CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CI the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase m= be in the A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the Aif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer than will handle single and multi-page documents. On a windows XP computer, the default viewing program are called "Windows Pwtim and Fax Viewer" or'Taint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DBMS has determined that a program called "IrBmView"I which can be downloaded from hfanView.eom, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be cont* -. as your default.tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are ninny other programs that work as well, such ad "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructions: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD flom the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autwun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. Instructions for mamully installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.ua.
