Delays due to
complex surveying demands and mineral claims work has resulted in a late October
submittal of the conversion application documents to Division offices. A 120 day
extension is requested to have adequate time for DMG and public review of the
conversion package and response by Colorado Marble. Please note that mining
operations will be curtailed during late fall and winter months and are not scheduled for
re-start until May 1, 2006. Thank you for your consideration. Please advise should you
need Colorado Marble, Inc., representation at the Nov. 17th-18th Mined Land Reclamation
Board Meeting to discuss this request. In the event that travel from Georgia may be
required, an agenda schedule would be greatly appreciated.
Very Truly Yours,
Kenneth S.
