(GGI) would like to request an immediate
review of the information provided herein which describes a `technical revision to the
permit conditions associated with the Golden Wonder Level 6 DRMS permit (Permit No.
M-1978-091UG).
As we have discussed during numerous conversations, as well as during your May 6,
2008 site inspection; we are commencing several activities to further study and delineate
the hydrologic balance associated with Level 6. As demonstrated by flow conditions, it
appears that there are significant sources to the Level 6 pad waste rock toe seep outside of
Deadman Gulch and any underground water draining from the mine itself. Given the
water quantity observed in Spring (- 200 gpm), and the water quality conditions (acidic
range pH); it is apparent that Deadman Gulch base flows are `disconnected' from this toe
seep. Since the toe seep remains in absence of Deadman Gulch flows, it is apparent that
another, significantly acidic formation must be lending the flows. In order to study this
setting, Gault Group Inc., in coordination with Richmont Mines Inc. have completed the
following;
2200 E.
