Dear Ms. Shults,
The Division received Technical Revision 02 (TR-02) for the Fort Lupton Sand and Gravel Mine;
Permit No. M-1999-120 operated by L.G. Everist, Inc. L.G. Everist proposes to change the
reclamation plan in the Golden Reservoir from 4h:ly to 3h:ly slopes. The Division has the
following comments regarding the revision;
1. The reclamation plan notes a 400'*400' future.oil and gas location in the Golden Reservoir.
Please explain how the revised slopes to 3h:ly will impact the proposed oil and gas pad.
2. Please revise the reclamation map to note 3h:ly slopes in the Golden Reservoir.
Please be advised that Division's decision due date is set for December 7, 2007. If you feel more
time is needed to complete your reply, the Division can grant an extension to the decision date. This
will be done upon receipt of a written waiver of your right to a decision by December 7, 2007 and
request for additional time. This must be received no later than the deadline date. If you have any
