The <br />proposed renewal will allow for <br />continued mining and/orrecla- <br />mation aperatlons at the site., <br />The Roadside Portals is located <br />in Mesa County, approximately 5 <br />mites north of Palisade, Colo> <br />ratio; Colorado. Coal interest at <br />this undergroundmine is Fed- <br />eral and private, and the sur- <br />face to be :f ected is Federal <br />and privatland.. The permit <br />area encompasses approxi- <br />mately 3,016.00 acres. <br />This proposed decision is based <br />on a finding. that the proposed <br />operation will comply with all re- <br />quirements of the Colorado <br />Surface Coal Mining Reclama- <br />tion Act, Section 34 33 101 at <br />seq., C.R.S., and the regula- <br />tions promulgated thereunder. <br />A copy of the "Proposed Deci- <br />sion and Findings of Compli- <br />ance", including any stipulations, <br />is on filelor public Inspection at <br />the Colorado Division of Recla- <br />mation, Mining and Safety, Room <br />215 Centennial Building, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Denver, Colo- <br />rado 80203, the Grand Junction <br />Field Office, 101 South 3rd, Suite <br />301, Grand Junction, CO 81501, <br />and at the.Mesa County Clerk's <br />Office, P.O. Persons <br />with an interest that may be ad- <br />versely affected by the pro- <br />posed decision may request a <br />formal hearing before the Mined <br />Land Reclamation Board on the <br />proposed decision.
