Computer requirements to use the DBMS document Imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and mast be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD the lust time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase ino be in the . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain tales with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that will handle single said multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does wont DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with QuickView. Attar downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be conl1gured as your default tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructions: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow, time for the CD to install. 3. ' Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD inb the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. Mthe Autor<m program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView, program. Instructions for manually instaalliag QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.stata.co.us. The Permit File document imago can be viewed In the reception area of the DBMS office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
