Cattany <br />Laramie, WY 82070-6535 Division Director <br />/ Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: v Follow-up on Unresolved Problem at State Line Ranch Pit; Permit Number M-2000-040 <br />Dear Mr. Cruz: <br />The above-mentioned site has had one or more~problems noted that, according to Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety (Division) records have not yet been resolved. According to our records, the following problem was to be <br />resolved on or before October 24, 2008. Listed below are descriptions and corrective actions for the problem. Please <br />resolve the corrective actions and provide evidence of such resolution on or before November 24, 2008. <br />Please note that if the corrective action is not properly addressed, and evidence provided to the Division by the date <br />provided above, the listed problems could be escalated to the level of possible violations and would then be referred to <br />the Mined Land Reclamation Board for further action. <br />• Mine entrance sign was not clearly marked per Rule 3.1.12(1) which requires the operator to clearly <br />label the mine entrance. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: <br />• Install the required entrance sign per Rule 3.1.12 and provide photographic evidence of the sign to the <br />Division by the corrective date. <br />If the problem has already been remedied, please provide evidence of its completion.
