Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) has reviewed CAM Mining <br />LLC's (CAM's) responses to our adequacy review comments for TR-16. The Division <br />has the following additional comments regarding the revised information submitted <br />August 19, 2008 by CAM for TR-16. Please note that on August 28, 2008 the Division <br />received additional comments from the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Their comments <br />are addressed below in item 52 and the letter is attached for your review. <br />Rule 2.04.9 Soils Resource Information <br />1. Item Resolved. <br />Rule 2.05.3(3) Mine Facilities <br />2. through 5. Items Resolved. <br />6. DRMS requested submittal of an amended Figure 2.2-1, to include permit <br />boundary lines and corrected stream channel map layer. On the amended version <br />of the map, the McClane Canyon permit boundary was properly included, but the <br />McClane Creek stream channel indicated by the dashed blue line is still located a <br />considerable distance outside of the topographic channel location indicated by the <br />contour line crenulations, along segments between the portal area and East Salt <br />Creek, and along the south fork of the creek, upstream of the portal area.
