(GGI), is pleased to provide this letter and associated attachments documenting <br />our response to your recent 'Stormwater Management Plan and best Management Practices <br />Review' (referred to as the Advisory Letter; dated December 20, 2007). Since this Letter was <br />obtained on 12/26/2007 during the Holidays by GGI, it was acknowledged (as per EMAIL <br />correspondence with Kelly Morgan received on January 7, 2007) that the 30-day response period <br />for this Letter was extended to February 9, 2007. GGI represents LKA Int. in areas of regulatory <br />compliance as related to the Golden Wonder mine and has limited power of attorney authority to be <br />able to sign application forms etc., related to these issues. <br />This Response Letter and the associated Attachments present three deliverables in response to <br />the requests made within the Advisory Letter. The first (Attachment A and Attachment A <br />Photographs) is comprised of a documented rebuttal to CDPHE's findings presented within the <br />Advisory Letter. The second deliverable (Attachment B) is comprised of specific changes to the <br />storm-water Management Plan (SWMP) in response to issues numbered and described within the <br />Advisory Letter. The third (Attachment C) is a completed point source discharge for the waste <br />rock toe seeps as requested by CDPHE. Documentation of the correspondence between LKA <br />Int./GGI and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is provided within Attachment D. <br />An outline of the deliverables provided by LKA Int./GGI in response to specific CDPHE requests <br />within the Advisory Letter are as follows: <br />• Within the Advisory Letter, CDPHE specifically requests (as stated on the top of page 3, <br />first, paragraph) "please submit to the Division written and photographic documentation that <br />the necessary upgrades to storm-water BMPs listed in paragraphs 5-7 have been made." <br />(refer to Attachments A and B, Attachment A Photographs and the text within this <br />2200 E.
