Cottony <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />On April 15,2008, the Division hosted an informal public meeting in San Luis regarding the <br />above referenced permit application.. The Division was represented by the Active Mines <br />Program Supervisor, David Berry; Senior Environmental Protection Specialist, Tony Waldron; <br />Assistant Attorney General, Counsel for the Division, Jeff Fugate; and Environmental Protection <br />Specialist, Wally Erickson. Various aspects of AM-03 involve the Water Quality Control Division <br />and Hazardous Materials Waste Management Division of the Colorado Department of Public <br />Health and Environment (CDPHE), as well as the Office of the State Engineer, Division of Water <br />Resources (DWR). Therefore, the Division had requested that CDPHE and DWR be <br />represented at the April 15t" meeting. During the April 15t" meeting, the DWR was represented <br />by District Engineer, Craig Cotton; and Water Commissioner, Robert Schultz. <br />Approximately 40 individuals attended the April 15t" meeting. The informational handouts and <br />sign-up sheet distributed by the Division are enclosed. The Division's presentation closely <br />followed the agenda and information provided in the handouts. The sign-up sheet represents <br />members of the attending public who desired to be added to the Division's mailing list regarding <br />AM-03. <br />The 10 individuals listed on the sign-up sheet have been added to the Division's list of parties <br />and interested persons for public notice for AM-03. <br />Enclosure: Sign-up sheet showing the contact information for 10 members of the public; <br />Agenda for the April 15f" meeting; <br />,Timeline for the permitting process for AM-03; <br />Amendment Application Review Process; <br />Party VS.
