We propose to strip as we are ready to mine an area.
Topsoil will be stockpiled on the east side of the property initially and then
begin on the south side. The original quantity of 3255 cubic yards of topsoil,
is probably incorrect because we will not be stripping as large an area as
originally anticipated. However, all topsoil available when stripping will be
stockpiled. Topsoil will be stockpiled with a loader to what the loader is
capable. The cable TV line will not be moved until the mining approaches its
location.
ADS or D6 dozer, a trackhoe, loaders and possibly trucks will be used
in the mining operations. Mining will begin on the northeast end of the permit
area. We will not be utilizing a Phased program. Reclamation will occur
upon completion of mining. A trench will not be dug around the perimeter of
the permit area. Rather, a pump will be placed_in the area if any water__
surfaces in the mining area. If any water is encountered it will be pumped to
a ditch with straw bales to prevent contamination and then can flow back to
the river or into our current pond.
Material mined will be moved across the river via a bridge or a low
water crossing to be processed.
Sincerely,
Patncia,M.
