Re: Proof of Notification of Affected Landowners of Application for Amendment of
Permit Number M-88-112 -Battle Mountain Resources, Inc.
Dear Wally,
On behalf of Battle Mountain Resources, Inc. (BMRI) I am enclosing proof of
notification to affected landowners of the Application for Amendment of Permit Number
M-88-112 submitted by Battle Mountain Resources, Inc.
As we discussed on the telephone, a detailed search of all available records at the Costilla
County Assesor's Office by me and Julio Mardid of BRMI resulted in the identification
of a number of adjacent affected property owners that were not identified during the
original title search performed for the permit amendment. I have added the additional
property owners to the site maps (Figures C-1 through C-4) and have included the
updated site maps along with a list of the thirty-three Owners of Record for the affected
lands.
Of the thirty-three notices sent, twenty six were deliverable at the addresses on record
with Costilla County and photocopies of return receipts from certified mailing are
attached as proof of notification, with the exception of the Sangre de Cristo Ranches I
notification. Although US Postal Service (Postal Service) records show the Sangre de
Cristo Ranches notification was delivered on January 28, 2008 we have yet to receive the
return receipt at our office. As a result, we are submitting proof of original mailing, and
the delivery confirmation information from the US Postal Service for this notification.
