A check in the amount of $216.00
Is provided in accordance with SB 07-185. I request the following revisions to the Reclamation
Plan:
1) Regarding Stipulation No. 62 of the Rider to Mining Permit issued May 3, 1991 which
states:
"Operator shall during reclamation attempt to establish each of the following shrub species to
a density of 50 stems per acre: Potentilla, Mountain Mahagony, Rabbit Brush and Sage.
Washing fines may be used as a substitute for soil."
I request that Stipulation No. 02 be removed from the reclamation permit. Establishment of
vegetation
is impractical because of the nature of the ground at the site, and the fact there has been no
topsoil present or available for revegatation. The nature of the site is a rockpile and not
suitable for vegetation.
2) I request that the post-mining land use be changed from wildlife habitat to residential.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 303-933-9657 or email at
monarchstone@comcaast.net
Tony Kimmick
President
