Pursuant to Hard Rock/Metal Mining Rule 2.7.1(2), staff are requesting the appointment of a Pre-
hearing Conference Officer for the above referenced application.
The Formal Board Hearing for the application is scheduled to occur in San Luis, during the June
11-12, 2008 Board meeting.
Ms. Sandra Brown has indicated that she is available on May 20, 2008 to preside as Pre-hearing
Conference Officer. APre-hearing Conference, scheduled for May 20, 2008, will satisfy the
requirements of Hard Rock/Metal Mining Rule 2.7.1(5). Therefore, staff respectfully requests the
appointment of Ms. Sandra Brown as Pre-hearing Conference Officer.
