Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Thank you for your responses to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety's (DRMS) <br />second adequacy review. I have inherited this file and would like to try to bring to a conclusion <br />the DRMS first adequacy review answers received March 31, 2008 and the second DRMS <br />adequacy review answers received May 2, 2008. I have reviewed the file and have the following <br />items of information and further requests to clarify the adequacy answers received on March 31 <br />and May 2, 2008. <br />From the adequacy answers received by the DRMS on March 31, 2008: <br />1. Adequate for now until the DRMS calculates a reclamation bond. <br />2. Please locate on the map where the bins are that are referred to in question 3. <br />3. a. Please indicate the maximum amount of ore that will be stored in the bins at any one <br />time. <br />b. Please indicate what type of covering will be used on the bins. <br />4. Adequate. <br />5. a. Please specify what type of ventilation will be used on the Franklin shaft opening. If a <br />fan will be used, please specify what size and type of fan will be used and how will it be mounted <br />to the opening. <br />b. Otherwise the answer to question five is adequate with the understood proviso that the <br />shaft closures will be completed to applicable specifications contained in "General Bid <br />Office of Office of <br />Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
