G.
Everist, Inc. Fort Lupton Sand and Gravel Mine, ermit No. M-1999-120. In her report, the
inspector noted two possible problems and requested two related actions.
The first issue has been addressed. We removed the temporary stockpiles in the Golden Phase. We
completed the corrective action plan and sent photographic evidence in a letter dated April 14, 2008.
The second issue noted in the inspection was requesting a change in the reclamation plan for the Golden
phase, due to its proximity to the South Platte River. L. G. Everist, Inc.- the operator -has an approved
reclamation plan for this site. We have made no significant changes to the mining operation, and we have
not had any issues with flooding on the site. Therefore, we believe that no corrective action or update to
the reclamation plan is needed at this time. We request that this second inspection issue be vacated.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact me directly at 303-286-2247 or by email at
Imshults@Igeverist.com.
