We have reviewed your comments and wish to offer the following responses. We <br />believe that our response will address your concerns and allow the Division to proceed forward <br />with its review and approval process. <br />II Mining Plan 6.4.4 <br />A) "...what is the purpose of gravel placement, when water storage is the final land use for <br />the site?" <br />Response: Any gravel left on the surface of the pit floor is reject materials and it will be left due <br />to the cost of reclamation plus it will be Less muddy during construction. <br />B) "The Operator did not provide a detailed design for the slurry wall... Please note, the <br />slurry wall design, construction and QA/QC, has to be approved by the Office of the State <br />Engineer's Office, with a copy to DRMS. <br />Response: The operator will attach to this letter a detail of the slurry wall design. The operator <br />does understand that the SEO will be the agency that approves the design and they are committed <br />to having the SEO approval and doing the 20 % bonding. <br />C) "Please provide the detailed engineering design for the portion of the ditch that will be <br />relocated... The applicant did not include a notarized agreement with the ditch owners that will <br />allow them to make the change in location." <br />
