In compliance with the Mined Land Reclamation Act, Alpine Rock Co.
hereby submits the following brief narrative addressing our 1988
activity of the above referenced location.
During 1988, approximately two and a half acres were mined and
reclaimed. We continue to mine in a southerly direction, removing,
crushing, processing and stockpiling the existing tailings.
Stockpiles created by the mining activity are located north of this
currently mined area, in the previously mined and reclaimed 1987
area. (See Attached Map). Previous activity reflected miming and
reclaiming approximately thirteen acres. With this disturbance, we
have mined and reclaimed approximately fifteen acres to date.
The reclamation of our site consists of the leveling of the existing
dredge tailings piles. There is no excavation (hole) associated with
our mining activity. There is not existing vegetation and
resultantly none has been disturbed. There is no topsoil to be
generated or replaced. Upon completion of our mining activity
several years hence, there will exist a level "floor, conducive to
further development.

recent mining activity. Also enclosed, please find our $350.00
annual renewal fee check.
