Annual Report, Worthing Pit M.L.R. Permit No. 77-526 Our files indicate that the anniversary date for this permit is March 5, 1985. Mining continued as approved in the Technical Revision dated February, 1985. Please refer to the Annual Report map for the location of areas discussed in this report. The reclamation bond request is being processed by the bonding company and will be submitted as soon as we receive it from them. We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report questions as outlined in Section 2.41 of the Rules and Regulations. 2.41 (1) No new lands have been affected during 1984. Mining continued from the north to the south. we mined 13.02 acres +/- during the last year (see map, areas colored blue) . (2) No reclamation was required during this time period. (3) An additional 0.31 acres +/- of backfilling (pink) was completed, 800 linear feet of bank sloping was done (pur):,le) and 16.33 acres +/- of rough grading and resoiling (brown) is complete on the affected lands. (4) Not applicable. (5) Not applicable. (6) Backfilling to date has been successful. The bank ' sloping is progressing very well. Final grading of the northern area will be completed before revegetation begins. To date we have approximately 60,000 yd3 of soil stockpiled. The soil stockpiles not in immediate use have a good weed cover that will control wind and/ot water erosion.
