Remarks: The pit operation durine the oast yaar old he described
as follows; approximately 9000 sg. ft. of new opening wa;; striaoed
to uut the pit in workmanlike mining condition. We may riot need to
strip more ground next year & possibly 2 years to satisfy our
requirements. No land was reclaimed because the nit is rod adaptable
to reclamation at this time. We recovered 7.856 tons of clay
between anniversary dates. Sde plan to continue operation. of the pit
for as long as usable clay is recoverable.
