Long
Division Director
Subject: 2001 Annual Reclamation Report Permit No. C-81-025
Dear Mr. Stover:
Thank you for the timely submission (letter of February 8, 2002, same subject) of the 2001 Annual
Reclamation Report (ARR). In regard to the report, the disturbances associated with the flume bases
(2 each in North Thompson Creek and 2 each in Middle Thompson Creek) have been identified as
unreclaimed areas (total of 0.2 acres) of disturbed mine site. The unreclaimed refuse area pond (1.3
acres) has been approved as a permanent pond. Therefore:
Item 1. Please revise the report to indicate that of 63.3 acres disturbed, 24.6 acres are
permanent features [see page 4-ix, 5/O1 of the Permit Application Package (PAP)].
Item 2. Please revise the report to indicate that of 63.3 acres disturbed, 0.2 acres (the flume
bases) have yet to be reclaimed.
Item 3. Please make other changes to the report entries to reconcile entries with the above
changes.
Item 4. Please submit a Minor Revision to the PAP to update (include the above updates and
correct minor arithmetic errors on) page 4-ix.
Please call me if you have any questions.
Yours truly,
Byron G.
