BOX 467 GOLDEN, COLORADO 80402
February 28, 2004
Mr. Tom Kaldenbach
Division of Minerals and Geology
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
Re: Annual Hydrology and Reclamation Report
Keenesburg Site
Dear Mr. Kaldenbach:
Based on our exchange of telephone messages, Coors Energy Company is submitting to
you one copy of the Annual Hydrology and Reclamation Report for 2004. At your
request, we will be happy to provide an additional set of the three primary maps included
in the report. On an earlier occasion we also provided you with a copy of the composite
air photo for the Keenesburg Mine site developed from the air photo mapping work done
last October.
One change that might be beneficial to point out, since it is mentioned several times in
the text, is that the "working areas" were mapped in 2003 and this year using atwo-foot
contour interval. The remainder of the site mapping stayed at the five-foot interval that
had been used for the entire site previously. The Report follows a format that has been
used for a number of years, which should make for easy comparison to earlier documents.
Should you have any questions, or wish to discuss this report, please contact me at (303)
277-3455.
Sincerel
Donald W.
