Dear Gregg: I enjoyed talking withyouu_by phone about various regulatory aspects of the Energy Fuels Coal, Inc., Southfield Mine formerly Dorchester No. 1 Mine near Florence, Colorado on Monday, April 8, 1985. This letter is written to confirm the agreement that we made during that phone conversation, regarding the quarterly survey of subsidence monuments which was to have been completed prior to March 31, 1985. As you may know, the transfer of ownership of the mine from Damson 011 Corp. to Energy Fuels Coal, Inc. occurred on Friday, March 22, 1985. Since that time, we have been busy familiarizing ourselves with all aspects of the mine, including its regulatory requirements. As you might expect it has been rather hectic during this transition period. In addition, we are currently short handed in the eng- ineering and regulatory group, and have not yet had a chance to perform the re- quired quarterly survey of subsidence monuments. As we agreed over the phone, Energy Fuels Coal, Inc. will conduct the survey prior to the end of April, 1985. Thank you for your time and patience during this transition.
