What will be the operting cyanide levels (free, wad, and
total)? If not presently known, when will it be known?
2. What mistakes, if any, did the commercial labs make in running
the various cyanide parameters? Can these be verified, documented?
3. What type of quality assurance program will BMG institute for
future sampling to assure that lab analyses are accurate?
4. When will the Cu-rich portion of the ore body be mined out?
Are there other Cu-sections? How certain are you of this? Should
you do more drilling to confirm?
5. What is the maximum abundance of Cu in the ore?
6. What is being done to reduce Cu in the ponds? Can you give a
prognosis telling when and how Cu will be stabilized?
7. What are the pH, Cyanide (all types), and metal levels in the
circuit?
8. Describe the sampling/monitoring program. Sampling points;
frequency of sampling; methods of sampling; analytical methods;
labs; QA procedures. What data will be provided to MLRD and with
what frequency?
9. What are the results of the gull kill (discovered April 1),
the deer kill (discovered April 5) , and the 2 duck kills (found
April 9)?
10. What changes, if any, will be made in the Humidity Cell Tests
to examine the long-term stability of the Zn-cyanide complexes?
11. What measures will be taken to prevent overland-flowing water
from carrying silt into the tailings? This silting will produce
higher permeabilities in the tailings, particularly around the
perimeter of the ponds.
b:bmgl
