Dear Ms. Mowry:
The following is the Annual Hydrology Report for 1989 for the Bear Number
Three Mine.
In 1989, water monitoring for stations H-1, H-10 and B-6 was crnrpleted on
a quarterly basis, and samples were sutmitted to laboratories for analysis.
The results from this analysis as well as the field tests taken are attached
hereto as Appendix I. These monitoring stations are at the following loca-
tions:
H-1 Surface water station located along Hubbard Creek
H-10 Groundwater well located near Hubbard Creek
B-6 Groundwater well located near Bear Creek
During 1989, there were no discharges from any of the permitted loca-
tions on the Somerset Mine Property. Attached hereto as Appendix II are
copies of the quarterly discharge reports submitted to the Colorado Department
of Health for the discharge points located on the property.
In 1989, the Sorerset Mine property had no mining operations: Therefore
there were no inflows or outflows from the mine during the year.
After evaluating all of the data available to us, it is management's
opinion that our operations had no effect on either the ground or surface
water during 1989.
