Box 130 <br />Castle Rock, Colorado 80104 <br />RE: Williamson Lease - File No. 77-388 <br />Dawson State Lease - File No. 77-392 / <br />Dear Mr. Spence: <br />III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII <br />999 <br />On March 73, 1984, the Division of Ntned Land Reclamation received an <br />annual fee payment 1n the amount of 5700.00. To this date, we have no <br />record of having received the annual reports as requested. Submission is <br />required by the Colorado Nined Land Reclamation Act, Article 32 of Title <br />34, C.R.S. 1973, as amended and by the Rules and Regulations promulgated <br />thereunder. Your attention is directed to the following provisions from <br />Rule 2.4 for operators holding a regular, 112 permit and Rule 3.4 for <br />operators holding a limited Impact, 110 permit. <br />2.4 Annual Reports <br />2.41 On the anniversary date of each permit year, the operator shall <br />submit a report and map (to a scale of not less than 100' to the <br />inch and not more than 660' to the inch), Indicating the phases <br />of the reclamation plan which have been completed, correlated <br />with the timetable. The report and map shall contain the <br />following information: <br />(1) Location and number of acres affected during that year, <br />(2) Locations and number of acres reclaimed for that year, <br />(3) The location and number of acres in various stages of <br />reclamation (backftlled, graded, topsoil replaced, <br />revegetated), <br />(4) The species of vegetation planted, the locations and the <br />approximate dates of planting, <br />(5) The type and approximate quantity of fertilizers, organic <br />material or soil conditioners used and location of use, <br />(6) An appra15a1 of the success of reclamation efforts, and in <br />the event of failure of any efforts, a short narrative on <br />the suspected or determined causes of such failure, <br />(7) Estimates of the location and number of acres to be <br />affected 1n the coming year, and <br />(8) The effective date of the information provided above shall <br />be no more than 45 days prior to the anniversary date. <br />423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
