Long <br />Division Director <br />RE: Release of diesel and storm water, Letter of June 5, 1996, Permit <br />No. M-77-208. <br />Dear Mr. Mossberg: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) received the above letter <br />on June 6, 1996 and has reviewed it. Please provide the following <br />information so that DMG may determine whether groundwater impacts from <br />the release have occurred or have a potential to occur: <br />1. Please give an estimate of the quantity of material spilled. <br />2. Please forward any documentation from the Colorado Department of <br />Public Health and Environment regarding the release. <br />3. Please describe the cleanup and remediation plan and actions <br />taken to date. <br />4. Please describe any possible groundwater impacts of the release <br />and demonstrate how these impacts were determined. <br />5. If no impacts to groundwater quality are expected, please <br />describe what monitoring will be done to demonstrate this. If <br />impacts to groundwater are expected and/or remediation is <br />required, please discuss how these impacts will be monitored.
