Each is <br />mined by a different operator using this single permit. This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary <br />Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. The approved bond amount is $84,200 <br />covering 75.74 acres ±, and the facility has seven mining and reclamation phases. Please refer to the <br />1999-2000 Annual Report Map fur the areas discussed in this text. <br />We will deal specifically with the Annual Report requirements as outlined in Rule 1.15 of the <br />Rules and Regulations and [hose noted in the annual letter. <br />(1) Clay - Nu new area was disturbed by the clay mining uperxtiun this year. We arotinued to <br />mine deeper un the land previously disturbed (Moe) north of the ditches in Stage II. Approxi- <br />mately 23.03 acres is disturbed by the clay operation in Stages O, 1 and 11. This included the <br />old clay mined area south of the ditches, the Clay Plant Site (purple) and the storage area <br />(tan). <br />Gravel -Albert Frei and Sons, Inc., leased the gravel from the mineral right owners this <br />yearn however, no gravel mining took place this year. A total of 11.94 acres has been <br />stripped in Stage A to prepare it for mining (magenta). The material stripped was placed long <br />[he perimeter of Stage A. The current gravel operation has disturbed 23.03 acres ± in the <br />mine. <br />(2) Nu reclamation was required this year. Filling continued on the old clay mining area in the <br />green area un the north end of Stage O. This tilling will eventually create the slope into the <br />bottom of the old clay mine. Nu additional elclama[ion is required until mining fur both <br />materials is completed in any given stage. <br />
