After you have reviewed the procedures <br />please give me a call if there are any questions. <br />Groundwater Sampling <br />Water Level - Levels are obtained using Olympic well probes and measured to <br />the nearest 1/100 of afoot. If the well is flowing and capped, then pressure <br />readings are obtained, readings are obtained to the nearest .5 psi. <br />Sampling - After a water level or pressure measurement is obtained the well is <br />bailed. At a minimum, one casing volume of water is bailed from the well. A <br />sample is then obtained and field parameters are measured. The water is field <br />filtered and samples drawn off for full suite analysis when required. Sample <br />bottles are acidified in the field with high purity HN03. Other preservatives <br />are added to the bottles prior to going to the field. Samples are carried <br />from field to lab in iced coolers. Holding times of parameters are met, and <br />in the event a holding time is exceeded the lab signifies same on report. All <br />downhole or field instruments are rinsed between sites.
