Walther
Executive Director
Michael B. Long
Division Director
The Division has reviewed Twentymile Coal Company's First and Second Half 1998 Subsidence Report
Supplemental Survey Data submittal for compliance in response to the Division's review dated Mazch 12,
1999.
1. Twentymile Coal Company submitted supplemental 1998 subsidence survey data for Routt County Road
No. 33 monuments above panel No. 6.
The two submitted pages present corrected data renditions for stations No. 111, No. 112 and No. 113. The
original report contained obvious computational busts in the "CUM" fields for these monuments over
time. This submittal remedies that problem.
2. No data has been provided by Twenty Mile Coal Company addressing the surface hydrology (impounded
storage volume) of the four subsidence created "sag ponds" formed within the channel of Foidel Creek..
Is this information discussed in detail in Foidel Creek's Annual Hydrology Report? If this is not included
in the AHR, please include a discussion of the surface hydrology of the ponding in the Subsidence reports.
Please provide responses to item no. 2.
Sincerely,
t
J t H. mns
vuo ntal Protec 'on Specialist
Cc: Dan Hernandez, DMG,
Jim Pendleton, DMG
C:/jhb/C82056/reports/98respJAP.doc
