Long
Division Director
The Division has reviewed the 1999 Annual Hydrology RepoLts for the above referenced mines. The report
appears to be complete with the exception of the missing laboratory data for the fast quarter, 1999, for
which a notice of violation was issued. The data appear to be consistent with Probable Hydrologic
Consequences projections of the permit, and no significant impacts on surface or groundwater resources in
the area of the mines are evident.
It is assumed that the blue stippled area shown on Figure 3 is the projected flooded zone within the sealed
workings. Please let us know if this is not the case, and include a notation for the blue stippling on future
AHR maps.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincer ~ _
1
Dan ews
Ewironmental Protection Specialist
Cc: Denver File
