The water
samples collected during this event cover the April 28-29
biweekly and the April 1993 quarterly. The cross-refBrence
table between sample identification numbers and sample
locations is attached.
This sampling event coincided with the third site visit of
the independent third party sampler, Dr. Ann Maest of
RCG/Hagler, Bailly, Inc. As part of the third party
sampling, filtered and unfiltered samples for the analysis
of cyanide (total and wad), metals, and nitrate/nitrite were
collected from the three ponds. RS-5 was sampled twine - a
sample during the third party visit (930428 BMG O1, analyzed
for cyanide, metals, and nitrate/nitrite) and a bi-
weekly/quarterly sample (930429 BMG 04, analyzed for
complete parameters list).
As specified in TR-006, calculated free and wad cyanidle
values for the process point samples are enclosed.
No deviations from the sampling QA/QC protocols, TR-OOi6,
were noted for any of the samples collected. Wells M-2,
M-6, M-7, and M-8, surface water stations RS-3, RS-4, and
RS-6, and the three lysimeter pairs were checked and found
to be dry. A barrel filter rinse blank, a field blank, and
a duplicate sample at D87-24 were collected as field quality
control samples.
A SURS/D/AHY OF flA77LF.
