Long,
Division Director
Thank you for your assistance in determining a billing procedure for cyanide
analyses of samples taken by our Division at Battle Mountain Gold Company's
San Luis Project. In accordance with our telephone conversation of
June 4, 1992, I am returning the enclosed Invoice No. 51665 back to you for
submittal to Battle Mountain Gold Company.
On April 23, 1992, the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board at a formal
public hearing ordered the Division to sample bi-weekly for cyanide at the San
Luis Project and ordered Battle Mountain Gold to pay for the analyses. The
Division's bi-weekly sampling is temporary (2-3/months) until a permanent
third party sampler is determined through a continued hearing process. I will
let you know when this change occurs.
Please call if you have questions.
Sincerely,
~'~~~~~
Larry D.'
