Colorado 80203 <br />Re: Battle Mountain Resources, Inc, - San Luis Project <br />DMG Permit No. M-88-112, TR-010 <br />Weekly Pond Compliance Report <br />February 4 - February 10, 1996 <br />Dear Mr. Dillie: ~~ <br />Attached is a summary of the daily on-site cyanide analysis performed on <br />samples from the tailings pond and the collection pond during the week <br />of February 4 - 10, 1996 as required by the approved TR-010. <br />During the week, the tailings pond averaged 6.45 ppm CN-wad and 6.99 ppm <br />CN-total. The collection pond averaged 0.27 ppm CN-wad and 0.40 ppm CN- <br />total. As per the telephone message I left for you last week, the <br />tailings pond samples have been higher than usual. Once the mill was <br />operational again, it was discovered that the back pressure control <br />valve for the sulfur dioxide wasn't working.
