Cottony
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Division has completed reviews of the 2002 Annual Reclamation Report, Annual
Revegetation Monitoring Report, and Annual Wildlife Monitoring Report for the Seneca II-W
Mine. In general, the reclamation information required by permit to be provided on an
annual basis was included in these reports. Please note, however, that the Division has
identified certain concerns related to overburden and revegetation data collection and
reporting pertinent to the Annual Reclamation Report and the Annual Revegetation
Monitoring Report. These concerns are being addressed within the Mid-term Permit Review,
which is currently being finalized by the Division. Resolution of the pertinent Mid-term
concerns may entail modification of future annual report submittals.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely, _
Daniel T.
