In keeping
eks ago, the operator has submitted appropriate
artifact observations, raw and reduced survey
inflow data. In addition, the operator has
a mine inflow encountered within the 2z west area,
Map".
The operator briefly speculates that the 3.5 gallon per minute inflow, which
ceased August 5, 1983, was due to dewatering of a perched roof channel deposit
aquifer. This scenario is logical and the flow has tapered. The analysis
due in conjunction with the operator's June 1, 1984 complete subsidence and
hydrology reports should resolve any concern regarding this topic.
Mining has not yet begun beneath the high resolution subsidence monitoring
grid network installed above the fifth north panel off the eighth east sub-
mains within the Orchard Valley Mine. Minor movements have been recorded
at several of the older, wider-spaced quarter section subsidence survey
monuments, with two suffering landslide occurrences during the past wet
spring season.
/mt
cc: Ed Bischoff
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES III III III IIIIIII III
D.
