The reports indicated that these sites have been <br />least six months. Please refer to the Minerals Rules and Regulat <br />1.6.2 and 1.6.2(2)(a) which state that if an operation ceases prd <br />period of 180 nays or more, the operator must file a Notice of Te <br />with the Board. This notice must state the date of cessation, th <br />cessation, a plan for the resumption of mining, a description of <br />the operator will take to ensure compliance with the permit recla <br />requirements and a description of site maintenance activities to <br />with the performance standards (Rule 6). If the request indi tee that the site <br />is sufficiently stabilized, we will approve the request for cessation within sixty <br />days. If the request indicates that there may be some problems ith the site, we <br />will either request more information from you, or schedule the site for an <br />inspection.
