Pit #3
MLR Permit No. 77-22 (Limited Impact)
During the year March 28,1981 to March 27,1912 Delta Sand
and Gravel mined 3.64 acres # from the central part of Stage 1.
Spring runoff this year is expected to refill the excavated area
with aggregate. It was not necessary to move our operation into
Stages 2 or 3 this year due in part to the lack of market for
large quantities of material and the abundence of material in
Stage 1 ,
We expect to mine more area in 1982, however that will depend
entirely on the demand for material in our marketing area.
No reclamation is required in Stages 1 and 2 untill after the
first runoff following the last mining season. It is impossible at
this time to estimate when that last season will be. We will
continue to extract material from this pit untill demand for sand
and gravel nolonger exists or the river fails to refill the excavated
area.
Our check for $50.00 to cover the Annual Fee is attached.
