4
III Illlllllllllllll
.ENERGY FUELS MINING CO.
RATON CREEK MINES
QUARTERLY INSPECTION REPORT
SEDIMENT POND
DATE OF INSPECTION: Sept.28,1999
IDENTIFICATION: Sediment dtion Pond
POND LOCATION: Sec.36, T33S, R64W, 6th P.M.
Las Animas County, Colo.
COMMENTS: There was approximately two (2) feet of water in the
pond at the time of inspection. This pond was found to be in
satisfactory condition, exhibiting very little visual signs of
structural weakness or other hazardous conditions. A very slight
slope erosion on the S.W. corner of the pond, which does not
pose a hazard to the integrity of the pond. Some accumulation
of sediment at each entrance from ditches. Slopes are not eroded
and have vegetation growth. The dike of the pond is stable and
shows po signs of erosion.
RECOMMENDATION: Correct the slope erosion and place larger rocks
on slope to eliminate further erosion. Remove sediment deposit
at each ditch inlet to pond: Correct within the next quarter.
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS STATEMENT:I, John H. Bacich state that
this report was prepared and presented hereon is true and correct
to the best of my knowledge and information.
Sept.29,1994 ~ /
Date ohn H.
